Day 7 - Saturday 7th May 2005

Cameron and I went to the Chelsea v. Charlton football match.  Good game.  Chelsea kicked the only goal right on the 90 minute mark to win the game.  The Chelsea fans concentrated at one end of the field were extremely vocal.  We went to the game on Cameron's motor scooter, a very easy way to get through the London traffic.

Saturday nights dinner was at a nice Italian restaurant in Northcote Road.

Day 8 - Sunday 8th May 2005 

We caught the train down to Richmond today.  We had lunch at a nice restaurant beside one of the bridges then walked along the Thames for a while.  Cameron, Jude and I then went on the "Jack The Ripper" guided tour around the East End of London.  Our guide, Donald Rumbelow, is a noted expert on the Ripper and has published a book on the murders.   The walk was terrific, and I bought a copy of his book from him.
