Day 1 - Sunday 1^st May 2005

Just after 4:00 in the afternoon, we boarded BA0018 for our flight to London.  Some 23 hours later, with one short stop in Singapore we arrived at 6:30 am in London.

Day 2 - Monday 2^nd May 2005

Fairly straight forward trip through immigration/customs and we're out waiting for Cameron.  Our lad turns up a short time later with a minicab and we pile in with our luggage and head off.  A short time later we are welcomed by Ninya to her flat in Webbs Road in Clapham.  What a delightful place, it spreads over two floors, two bedrooms on one floor and the kitchen living area above, a sunny roof top terrace opens of the living area. The weather is warm and sunny, quite un-London like.  We settled in and then caught the bus to Kings Road in Chelsea.  After wandering around the narrow streets and garden squares, lined with magnificent terraces and expensive Bentleys, we had lunch at an outdoor cafe in a redevelopment of the Chelsea barracks.  Came back to Webbs Road and sat out in the sun on the patio at the back of the flat.  Cameron cooked up a fine barbeque and Ninya opened some fine wines.  Jude woke up from her little nap and joined us for dinner.
