Palm Valley

Tuesday - 22^nd June

Clear and cold again.  Headed of out Larapinta Drive for a day at Palm Valley.  Stopped off at Hermannsburg Mission for a look around then off down the 4WD only road to the valley.  What a great drive, very rough and a few water crossings but it was worth it.  It's a wonderful place.  We did the long walk along the canyon then up onto the plateau for the return.  Saw our second kangaroo of the trip.  Countryside very lush from the abnormal winter rains.
