Day 9 - Monday 9th May 2005

Today's destination was the Tower of London, the weather was generally fine.  Spent quite some time there, starting with a guided tour by a Beefeater, then we just wandered around the various towers, battlements and chapels.  The crown jewels were spectacular.  We walked back to through some narrow streets to the "Monument" which commemorates the Great Fire.  It looked a bit tall to climb though.
