Day 5 - Thursday 5th May 2005

Spent a quiet morning at the flat then headed for London to do some shopping. I stopped at Speaker's Corner in Hyde Park and imparted some of my political wisdom to the assembled multitude.  We then walked along Oxford Street, and then down the back alleys around Regent Street, had lunch at the Shakespeare's Head pub in Carnarby Street with Cameron.  After lunch we continued on to Piccadilly Circus and Cameron headed off to work.  We caught the tube to Kensington High Street looking for some fleeces.  Not much luck. We then caught the tube to St. Paul's and had a bit of a tour around there.  We walked up little lanes with picturesque shops and pubs on each side, through to the Guildhall then back down to Threadneedle Street and the old Bank of England before tubing home.  We had dinner with Ninya's brother and sister, Oscar and Maya, at a great little Tapas bar down in Northcote Road.  The roast suckling pig was particularly delicious.
