Thursday - 30th AugustToured the Koorana Crocodile Farm today. They have over 3000 salt water crocodiles on the farm and they process them for meat and hides. Some of the older crocs are gigantic and our guide, a 'crocodile skinner' gave us a very informative and exciting tour, especially when he entered the enclosure of some of the big ones. We had crocodile for lunch, I had the crocodile steak and Judy had the kebabs. Bit like pork crossed with chicken. On the way home we had a look at Emu Park and the 'Singing Ship Memorial', the wind was fairly stiff and the memorial was playing quite a tune. Friday - 31st AugustDrove up along the coast and visited the Nob Creek Pottery. Lots of pottery, laquerware, musical instruments and glassware in a rainforest setting. We bought some glass, some pottery and jewellery.
