Tuesday - 28th August.

Not as sunny today but still pleasant.  Fed some of the resident birds in the park, one of the turkeys thought my toe looked edible so took a peck at it. Spent the rest of the morning cleaning 2 years of dirt off the awning before heading in to look around Rockhampton.

Wednesday - 29th August 

Nice day.  Had fish and chips for lunch at the café just across the Causeway. Delicious. We visited an old internet friend Macka. Spent a pleasant afternoon on his balcony admiring the view.  There was a sausage sizzle put on by the caravan park in the evening and they had a great bush poet entertaining us as we sat round the fire pit under a huge moon.
